Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Colorado River is seeking a part-time Assistant Athletic Director to support the Athletic Director in planning, coordinating and supervising Club athletic programs across Bullhead City and Fort Mohave, AZ. The role requires hands-on involvement with youth sports and event management, including scheduling, league operations, and safety compliance.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills and a genuine commitment to youth

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience participating in, coaching, officiating, or assisting with recreational or competitive sports.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and other safety certifications within organizational timelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Athletic Director with planning, organization, implementation, and daily operation of all Club athletic programs.
• Support youth sports leagues (basketball, volleyball, football) and other programs as developed.
• Coordinate registrations, team rosters, league schedules, standings, and tournaments.
• Communicate league rules, schedules, and program information to coaches, participants, and families.
• Assist with outside rentals and community use of Club facilities, ensuring safety and policies.
• Support coordination of community partnerships, clinics, camps and events.
