Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale is seeking a Sports & Fitness Coordinator to lead planning, delivery, and assessment of youth sports programs at the assigned branch. You will collaborate with the Branch Director and Sports League Director to ensure safe, engaging, and structured activities while promoting the organization’s mission.

You will recruit and supervise coaches, manage equipment and field allocations, and build relationships with families and community partners to grow

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ work experience in youth development or recreation.
• Previous sports league experience.
• Knowledge of physical education curriculum.
• Knowledge of rules of games and team sports.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or equivalent.
• Ability to earn CPR and First Aid certifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate sports programs and leagues.
• Oversee recordkeeping and reporting for registrations and participation.
• Recruit, train, supervise coaches and volunteers.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of program areas.
• Maintain relationships with parents, guardians, community partners.
