Job summary

The North Face is seeking a Designer - Youth Apparel to join the Youth Apparel Design Team in Denver. You will support seasonal design work, conduct research, and develop concepts and tech-packs for a range of youth products.

You will collaborate across disciplines to deliver on brand aesthetics and performance goals. You will apply your strong sketching skills and proficiency with Illustrator/Photoshop to create compelling designs, with attention to fit, materials, and cost considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent relevant experience.
• 4+ years of apparel design experience.
• Youth apparel experience preferred.
• Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong sketching and tech-pack creation skills.
• Experience with research, prototyping and concepting across lifestyle and performance products.
• Cross-functional collaboration and ability to manage multiple timelines.

Responsibilities

• Support the Youth Apparel Design Team on seasonal design work.
• Conduct seasonal research and present concepts.
• Create tech-packs and design deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners on product development.
• Present design work at seasonal gates and incorporate feedback.
• Ensure brand aesthetic, materials, fit, and cost considerations.
