The North Face is seeking a Designer - Youth Apparel to join the Youth Apparel Design Team in Denver. You will support seasonal design work, conduct research, and develop concepts and tech-packs for a range of youth products.
You will collaborate across disciplines to deliver on brand aesthetics and performance goals. You will apply your strong sketching skills and proficiency with Illustrator/Photoshop to create compelling designs, with attention to fit, materials, and cost considerations.

A day in the life of a Designer - Youth Apparel at The North Face looks a little like this.
You’ll work with and support the team on elevating design expression and creating best-in-industry lifestyle apparel that can take people to the far corners of the world, in style and comfort. You will support the Lifestyle & Youth Apparel Design Team on the creation and execution of seasonal product design work.
You will work with and support the design team with seasonal research, tool updates, concepts, product design and tech-packing.
You work on moderately complex products, including seasonal research and insights, presentation tools, concepts, design deliverables, and product design. You’re a collaborative member of the design team and work with cross functional partners.
You design and create a broader range of products in collaboration with design leadership. You present design work at seasonal gates, giving and receiving constructive feedback.
You have a solid understanding for brand aesthetic, DNA, materials and technologies, fit and silhouette, cost engineering, in support of consumer and business needs.
You have a passion for details, learning and contribute to team reviews, workshops, and milestones.
You will work on product that is built for Snow/Climb/Trail as well as Lifestyle product that is inspired by these territories through a kid appropriate lens.
