Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. is seeking an Employment Specialist to support individuals in achieving meaningful employment outcomes.

You will assess each person’s skills, interests, and goals to identify suitable job opportunities and provide on-the-job training. The role includes ongoing support to promote long-term success and independence in the workplace, with a flexible schedule that may require evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field or equivalent experience
• Any major with 1 year paid experience considered
• Associate degree with 3 years experience in work with young adults/adults
• High school diploma with 1 year paid/volunteer experience with young adults/adults
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities
• Knowledge of community resources
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable insured transportation
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus
• Flexible schedule including evenings/weekends
