Job summary

Intercept Youth Services, Inc. is seeking a Life Skills Coach/Case Manager for the Young Adult Independent Living Program in Roanoke, VA.

You will mentor residents ages 17–21, helping them gain money management, employment, and education skills, while guiding daily living activities and career exploration. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree plus two years of case management experience with children/families; a related master’s in Social Work or Counseling is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field plus two years of experience in case management for children/families or a related human services field.
• Preferred: human service Bachelor's with experience in case management for children/youth and families.
• Preferred: human service Master's with placement in case management for children/youth and families.

Responsibilities

• Engage with young adults (17–21) in the Independent Living Apartment Program.
• Support residents in money management, employment, education, daily living skills, and career development.
• Assist with life skills learning, transportation, and resident transition planning.
