HTC Automotive Repair in Boulder, CO is seeking an experienced automotive technician for our evening crew (3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.). You will diagnose, repair, and document work on customer vehicles, following approved repair plans and torque procedures.
We value clear notes, reliable attendance, and the ability to hand off ongoing repairs to a teammate. ASE welcome; strong diagnostics and communication with the team help deliver quality results.
You know your way around a vehicle. You also know what time of day you’d rather be working on one.
I’m Jake, the owner and technician with over 17 years of experience. We’re looking for an experienced automotive technician who can get good work done, communicate with the team, and care about the vehicle someone’s trusting us with.
If an evening shift suits you, we’re building a crew at HTC Automotive in Boulder and would like to hear what you can bring to it.
3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. This position is specifically for our evening crew.
We’re also recruiting a working foreman to lead that shift and support repair decisions and quality control. We’ll discuss the actual crew and support available at your start date.
Write repair notes that make it easy to follow what you found, tested, and completed, even if you’re the one picking it back up. We usually keep the same technician on a job, but customer priorities sometimes mean another set of hands needs to carry it forward.
Our customers include individuals and businesses. The jobs will vary. Bring your strengths in mechanical repair and diagnostics, and tell us where we can help you develop.
ASE certifications are welcome, but so is being able to walk us through the diagnostic tests, what the results told you, and how you found the problem.
You’ve put time into learning the trade. Bring that skill, check your work, and give the customer a result you can stand behind.
HTC is an independent, owner‑operated shop. We want people who communicate, own mistakes, and help each other get good work done.
We take the work seriously. There’s still room for a laugh after a repair puts up a fight. If you’ve ever spent twenty minutes retrieving the socket you dropped in three seconds, you’ll have companions who shared the same misery.
Pay and benefits are listed with this post.
We’d like to hear about your late night car repair adventures.
