Job summary

Lactalis US Yogurt, Inc. in Casa Grande, AZ, is hiring a Filler Assistant to support the yogurt filling and packaging operations. You will work closely with the lead operator to ensure product quality, equipment cleanliness, and compliance with food safety standards.

The role requires strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow SOPs in a fast-paced production environment. Shift times are 2–2–3 with pay up to $23 per hour, plus benefits and overtime differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machine operation or food processing is a plus.
• Previous experience in a dairy processing or food manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up yogurt filling machines including loading materials, adjusting settings, and preparing packaging components.
• Monitor machine performance during operation and report irregularities to the lead operator or supervisor.
• Assist with changeovers between products, flavors, or packaging formats.
• Perform visual checks of filled yogurt cups or pouches for weight, seal, appearance, and labeling.
• Remove and document defective products following procedures.
• Record production data and complete required forms, logs, and checklists accurately.
