Job summary

The Yoga Instructor at The Unbound Collection by Hyatt is responsible for leading safe, engaging yoga sessions for guests of varying skill levels at the Carmel Valley Ranch property. The role emphasizes mindfulness, wellness, and inclusive instruction in a welcoming atmosphere.

You will demonstrate poses, guide breathing, and adapt routines to diverse abilities while ensuring safety, cleanliness, and a positive experience for all participants.

Qualifications

• Certified Yoga Instructor (e.g., Yoga Alliance RYT-200 or equivalent preferred).
• Previous teaching experience preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Body Pump and sound healer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead yoga classes for individuals and groups.
• Demonstrate and instruct proper yoga poses, breathing techniques, and movements.
• Modify exercises to accommodate different fitness levels, abilities, and health considerations.
• Monitor participants during classes to ensure safety and correct form.
• Foster a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere.
• Maintain knowledge of current yoga practices, wellness trends, and safety standards.
• Ensure the studio or class space is clean, organized, and ready for use.
