Job summary

Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort and Villas is recruiting a Yoga Instructor to lead engaging, inclusive classes for varied skill levels at our Indian Wells studio. Emphasis on safety, mindfulness, and wellness will guide every session.

You will plan and demonstrate poses, adapt movements for all abilities, and maintain a welcoming environment for guests seeking physical and mental well-being. Certification and prior teaching are preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified Yoga Instructor (Yoga Alliance or equivalent)
• Previous teaching experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of anatomy, injury prevention, and wellness principles
• Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead yoga classes for individuals and groups.
• Demonstrate and instruct proper poses, breathing techniques, and movements.
• Modify exercises to accommodate different levels and health considerations.
• Monitor participants during classes to ensure safety and correct form.
• Foster a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere.
• Maintain knowledge of current yoga practices, wellness trends, and safety standards.
• Ensure the studio or class space is clean and ready for use.

The Yoga Instructor is responsible for leading safe, engaging, and inclusive yoga classes for participants of varying skill levels. This role promotes physical wellness, mindfulness, and proper yoga techniques while creating a positive and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and lead yoga classes for individuals and groups.
• Demonstrate and instruct proper yoga poses, breathing techniques, and movements.
• Modify exercises to accommodate different fitness levels, abilities, and health considerations.
• Monitor participants during classes to ensure safety and correct form.
• Foster a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere.
• Maintain knowledge of current yoga practices, wellness trends, and safety standards.
• Ensure the studio or class space is clean, organized, and ready for use.
  

Qualifications

• Certified Yoga Instructor (e.g., Yoga Alliance RYT-200 or equivalent preferred).
• Previous teaching experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of anatomy, injury prevention, and wellness principles.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Body Pump and sound healer preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to demonstrate yoga poses and movements.
• Ability to stand, bend, stretch, and move throughout class sessions.
