Job summary

Equinox Bethesda is seeking Yoga Instructors who hold a current certification and CPR/AED. You will deliver the Equinox Experience in class, tailor intensity for participants, monitor effort, and ensure timely starts and finishes.

Regular classes and limited substitutions are expected, with strong communication to the Group Fitness Manager about member feedback and equipment. We value friendly, energetic coaches who love learning and providing excellent service.

Qualifications

• Current yoga teaching certification required.
• CPR/AED certification must be current.
• Experience teaching yoga classes preferred.
• Knowledge of anatomy, kinesiology, and safe modifications.
• Willingness to learn and pursue ongoing education.
• Friendly, vibrant, and outgoing demeanor.
• Reliable access to email and phone communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Equinox Experience to members in each class.
• Adhere to class descriptions and adjust intensity as needed.
• Monitor exercise intensity throughout the class.
• Ensure classes start and end on time.
• Teach regularly and minimize substitutions.
• Communicate with Group Fitness Manager on feedback and equipment.
