Job summary

The Fitness Equation is seeking a professional, performance-driven Yoga Instructor to lead quality group classes and ensure member safety. You will collaborate with club staff to foster a positive, motivating environment and set a professional example through appearance and communication.

Ideal candidates will hold verifiable professional education/certifications and CPR/AED certification, and be capable of operating audio equipment for class playback and announcements.

Qualifications

• Must provide verifiable proof of professional education/certifications.
• Must provide verifiable proof of current CPR/AED certification.
• Ability to effectively communicate providing appropriate eye contact, smiles and body language, and verbally when giving and taking information.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot audio equipment.

Responsibilities

• Teach quality group exercise class programs in accordance with club and industry standards while ensuring the safety of our members and guests.
• Work with club management and staff to create an inspiring and positive environment to motivate members and produce results.
• Present a professional and motivating personal appearance to inspire members and encourage their commitment to their own health.
• Be punctual and respectful, maintaining communication well in advance with club management regarding an inability to fulfill obligations for any reason.
• Support the club, group exercise program, other instructors and staff, members and guests while following employee policies and procedures.
• Keep Group Exercise area clean and professional immediately after each class and return equipment to storage.
