Job summary

Equinox's Nashville, TN locations are seeking Yoga Instructors. The position entails delivering the Equinox Experience to our members in each class, adhering to class descriptions and adjusting the intensity for participants when needed, and ensuring classes begin and end on time.

You will teach classes regularly, minimize substitutions, and communicate with the Group Fitness Manager about member feedback, equipment status, scheduling, and subbing.

Qualifications

• Yoga instructors must possess a current certification in their discipline.
• Have experience teaching.
• Must possess and maintain current CPR/AED certification.
• Must be well-versed in basic anatomy, kinesiology, contraindicated exercises, and exercise modifications for all populations.
• Must be eager to learn and continue professional development and education.
• Must be friendly, vibrant, and outgoing.
• Must have access to regular email and phone communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Equinox Experience to our members in each class.
• Adhere to the description of the class and modify the intensity for participants when necessary.
• Ensure class begins and ends on time.
• Teach respective classes on a regular basis and keep subbing to a minimum.
• Communicate with Group Fitness Manager on member feedback, equipment status, scheduling, and subbing
