Job summary

The YMCA Ayrlawn Program Center is seeking a dependable Part-Time Facility Technician to help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children, families, members, and staff in Bethesda, MD. This hands-on role supports routine upkeep and safety.

Responsibilities include basic repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and more, plus setting up spaces for programs and events. Prior facilities experience is preferred, with a focus on safety and independent work.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities or building maintenance preferred.
• Basic knowledge of building systems and general repairs.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to lift and move equipment and supplies as needed.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
