Qualifications

• One year of housekeeping, custodial, or janitorial experience.
• Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision.
• Experience operating cleaning equipment (vacuum, buffers).
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe usage.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and housekeeping duties per YMCA standards.
• Keep areas clean, organized, and free of debris.
• Assist with room setup/breakdown for events.
• Monitor chemical storage and bulk trash areas.
• Assist with laundry as needed.
• Respond to spills and emergencies promptly.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to supervisor.
