Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor seeks an NPI Engineer to drive setup and qualification of new products across multiple manufacturing nodes. You will collaborate with Product Ops, MFG, Fab Engineering, and PIE to ensure smooth product introductions and meet critical milestones.

You will manage end-to-end qualification, coordinate sample movements, and align process steps with Fab Engineering, supporting on-time delivery and data integrity across KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
• 3–5 years of semiconductor industry experience; Operations or Integration background preferred.
• Familiarity with SAS or similar MES systems (GPM, eSpec, or YMS) is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end New Product qualification and setup (including PIE NPI Checklists).
• Lead NPI Pave and Customer Sample lot movements in coordination with MFG and Product Ops.
• Coordinate critical process step setups (SD, RMG, etc.) and align conditions with Fab Engineering.
• Partner with Yield Enhancement for overarching product management.
• Ensure on-time delivery of customer material.
• Pass data across inline parameters, pMTS spec matching, electrical performance, defect and yield.
• Achieve Corner Splits and reliability screening for specific lot types.
• Manage the full NPI lifecycle from silicon input to CS and Qual lot delivery for multiple products.
