Please note that while this role will operate remotely, it is required that the candidate resides in the Western Region of the United States. At this time we are not considering candidates in the Bay Area.

About Yelp

Yelp was created to connect people with great local businesses. As an Inside Sales Representative (ISR), you'll work directly with local businesses to help them achieve their goals through Yelp's advertising programs. You'll contact small business owners via phone to understand their needs and customize sales solutions. Our success is measured by achieving and exceeding sales goals and helping clients grow their businesses.

Responsibilities
  1. Educate and sell Yelp advertising programs through outbound calls (100% phone-based).
  2. Reach as many businesses as possible, working a schedule that may include 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., or 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  3. Manage a pipeline of clients using Salesforce CRM.
  4. Work remotely from home, selling advertising to local businesses.
  5. Become an expert in Yelp's advertising solutions and adapt recommendations to client needs.
  6. Achieve and exceed monthly sales goals, demonstrating strong work ethic and persistence.
  7. Stay organized and manage time effectively to meet daily goals.
Qualifications
  1. GED/HS Diploma with 2+ years customer-facing experience OR Bachelor's Degree.
  2. No fear of making calls.
  3. Proficiency with computers and email; experience with Google Suite and Salesforce is preferred.
  4. Ability to work in a distraction-free environment.
  5. Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  6. Must have current US work authorization.
Training & Development

Two months of initial training plus ongoing career development through the Yelp Sales Development Program, including learning sales techniques, CRM tools, and internet advertising.

Compensation & Benefits

First-year earnings range from $50k-$65k with base salary and uncapped incentives. Year 2 on-target earnings can reach $70k-$112k. Starting salary is $37k plus commission. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, parental leave, wellness reimbursement, 401(k), and stock plans.
