Job summary

Lesaffre's Red Star Yeast team is seeking a Process Operator for a rotational night shift (6p–6a) to ensure quality yeast production. You will follow established fermentation procedures, adjust equipment as needed, and maintain safety and GMP compliance across the plant.

Training across departments may be required as workload dictates. Responsibilities include reading safety data sheets, recording data, and helping with packaging and audits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Able to follow instructions, learn, and ask questions.
• Good people and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and troubleshoot.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety protocols and participate in safety programs.
• Adhere to fermentation procedures and adjust processes as needed.
• Notify supervisor of equipment issues or major fermentation variations.
• Complete tasks according to production schedule.
• Perform cleaning and basic material handling per procedures.
• Read material safety data sheets for chemicals used.
