Job summary

Lesaffre Group in Cedar Rapids is seeking a Process Operator to ensure high-quality yeast production. You will follow established procedures, operate fermentation equipment, perform sanitation tasks, and maintain accurate records.

The role requires safety-first mindset, ability to work rotating day shifts 6:00 AM–6:00 PM, and willingness to train in multiple plant areas to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage time, multi-task, and troubleshoot in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow established fermentation procedures and adjustments to processes or equipment.
• Notify Supervisors of equipment failures or major process variations.
• Operate and clean equipment per GMP and safety rules.
• Record accurate information and maintain documentation for fermentation and related processes.
• Train and support other departments as needed and participate in safety programs.
