Green Corps offers a yearlong, paid training program designed to launch your career in environmental organizing. Organizers gain classroom instruction and field experience, running campaigns across diverse U.S. locations, fundraising, and volunteer mobilization.

No prior organizing experience is required. The program emphasizes communication, leadership, and adaptability, with a start date in August 2027 and a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Passion for protecting the environment and dedication to advocacy and organizing work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work with diverse groups.
• Leadership experience on campus or in the community.
• Strong work ethic with goal orientation and flexibility to adapt campaigns.
• Willingness to commit a year to learning organizing skills across campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Run three to five campaigns across multiple locations in a year.
• Manage and train canvass staff for the final campaign of the year.
• Receive eight weeks of classroom training in organizing theory and skills.
• Develop skills to launch organizing careers after completion.
• Exercise discretion and independent judgment in significant matters.
