Job summary

Green Corps is offering a yearlong, paid training program that builds hands-on organizing experience across environmental campaigns in multiple locations in the United States. You will run campaigns, recruit and train volunteers, and lead canvass teams while receiving eight weeks of classroom instruction.

Starting August 2027, the program targets an annual compensation of $41,000–$44,450, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• A passion for protecting the environment and dedicating your career to environmental advocacy and organizing work.
• Strong communication skills, including writing, public speaking and working with others one-on-one and in a group.
• Leadership experience on campus or in your community.
• Strong work ethic and dedication to goals, with flexibility to adjust plans during campaigns.
• Willingness to commit to a year of training and work on multiple campaigns in different locations.

Responsibilities

• Run three to five campaigns throughout the year on a range of issues in multiple locations across the United States.
• Manage a grassroots canvass office for the final campaign of the year, including hiring and supervising canvass staff.
• Receive eight weeks of classroom training to learn organizing theory and skills.
• Gain the skills and experiences needed to launch an organizing career and connect graduates with organizing jobs.
• This position requires discretion and independent judgment in matters of significance.
