Green Corps offers a yearlong, intensive, paid training program that provides hands-on experience to start a career in environmental organizing. Organizers will run campaigns across multiple locations in the United States and manage canvass staff while receiving classroom training and mentorship to launch a lasting career in advocacy.

Starting in August 2027, compensation ranges from $41,000 to $44,450 with benefits including health insurance, paid sick time, vacation, and commuter perks.

Qualifications

• Passion for protecting the environment and commitment to advocacy and organizing.
• Strong communication and writing abilities.
• Leadership experience on campus or in the community.
• Work ethic and goal orientation with adaptability to changing campaigns.
• Willingness to dedicate a year to learning organizing across campaigns and locations.

Responsabilités

• Run three to five campaigns across the year in multiple locations across the United States.
• Run a grassroots canvass office, hire and manage canvass staff and educate the public.
• Receive eight weeks of classroom training throughout the year on organizing theory and skills.
• Launch organizing careers by connecting graduates with organizing jobs in environmental and social change movements.
• Exercise discretion and independent judgment in matters of significance.
