Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories is seeking a Year Round - Technical Undergraduate Intern to join our Enterprise Network Services team. You will assist senior staff in designing, deploying, operating, maintaining, and resolving enterprise network challenges across Windows and Linux environments, with a focus on automation and networking workflow improvements.

Ideal candidates are enrolled full-time in an accredited undergraduate program, pursuing CS/MIS/Info Assurance, and able to work up to 25

Qualifications

• Enrolled full time in an accredited undergraduate program.
• Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0.
• Ability to work up to 25 hours/week during the academic year and up to 40 hours/week in summer.
• U.S. citizenship required for security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior staff and learn from their expertise as you help design, deploy, operate, maintain, and resolve enterprise network challenges.
• Work with corporate networks, remote networks, and emerging enclaves.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security and Networking to architect network solutions.
• Troubleshoot workflows, traffic, and service impacts.
• Gain experience in automation and software development across Windows and Linux.
