Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories is seeking an Intern, Technical Graduate Year-Round in Emerging Tech and Analysis. The role involves on-site duties, assisting in interdisciplinary projects, and applying data-driven methods to security-related research and policy discussions.

Ideal candidates are enrolled graduate students with a bachelor's degree, a 3.0 GPA, and the ability to work up to 40 hours weekly in summer, including eligibility for a U.S. security clearance. On-site work is required.

Qualifications

• Earned bachelor's degree and currently enrolled full-time in a related accredited graduate program.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0.
• Ability to work up to 30 hours/week in academic year and up to 40 hours/week in summer.
• Ability to secure and maintain a U.S. security clearance requiring U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Perform entry-level work within a technical science and engineering environment.
• Support interdisciplinary projects applying scientific method and critical thinking.
• Conduct analyses supporting security and emerging technology programs.
• Assist with risk/decision analysis models and policy dialogues.
• Coordinate domestic and international events and collaborations for sponsor efforts.
