Sandia National Laboratories is seeking a Year Round Technical Undergraduate Intern to join a dynamic team in Albuquerque, NM. The role involves data collection, test design, and collaboration with Sandia facilities and external ranges for nuclear-related testing and other programs.

The intern will assist with test setups, develop fixtures in SolidWorks, and communicate results to the project lead. Availability for on-site work is required.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an accredited undergraduate program and enrolled full time.
• Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0.
• Ability to work up to 25 hours per week during the academic year and up to 40 hours per week in the summer.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US citizenship for security clearance.

Responsabilités

• Work with a multidisciplinary team including interns, engineers and staff.
• Collect data for tests at Sandia and partner ranges.
• Collaborate on experimental measurements and diagnostics.
• Assist with test setup and data collection at Sandia facilities.
• Design and develop test fixtures using SolidWorks.
• Communicate research results to project leads.
