Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories in New Mexico is seeking Year-Round R&D Interns to join the DOE Science Undergrad Laboratory Intern (SULI) or Community College Internships (CCI) Program.

Onsite work is required and interns may set up experiments, develop software to analyze data, and create computational models and algorithms. The program targets students in science, engineering or math pursuing research opportunities.

Qualifications

• Earned bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Currently enrolled full-time in a science/engineering/math graduate program.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Ability to work up to 30 hours per week during the academic year and up to 40 hours in summer.
• Must be a U.S. citizen to obtain/maintain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run lab experiments.
• Create software programs to analyze data.
• Develop computational models and algorithms.
