Sandia Corporation seeks a Year Round Technical Undergraduate Intern to join a multidisciplinary team. You will assist in data collection, design fixtures in SolidWorks, and collaborate across Sandia National Labs and partner labs to support nuclear weapons development programs.

The role requires on-site work and offers flexible hours: up to 25 hours/week during the academic year and up to 40 hours/week in summer, with competitive intern pay.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled full-time in an accredited undergraduate program.
• GPA 3.0/4.0 minimum.
• Capable of 25 hours/week during the academic year and up to 40 hours/week in summer.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with interns, senior engineers and staff on Sandia and partner labs.
• Support data collection for tests and analyze results across various facilities.
• Assist with test setup and data collection at Sandia facilities including outdoor/indoor labs.
• Design and develop test fixtures using SolidWorks.
• Communicate research results in writing, orally, and through other media.
