H&R Block is seeking a year-round Block Advisor (Tax Advisor) to prepare complete tax returns for clients with diverse needs. You will interview clients, recommend personalized tax strategies, and build long-term relationships while delivering empathetic, consultative service.

Qualifications

Complete the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent.
5+ years of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.
Experience with complex individual and business returns and tax notices.
Experience in a client-facing, consultative role and clear communication.

Responsibilities

Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
Conduct in-depth client interviews to assess financial situations and provide recommendations.
Build long-term client relationships and identify tax savings opportunities.
Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
