Job summary

Mountain Valley Maintenance in Eagle Valley, CO is hiring Maintenance Laborers for our outdoor crew. In winter you shovel, plow, and clear snow and ice from the walkways, stairs, and driveways of the associations we take care of. In summer you mow, trim, plant, and keep the same properties looking good.

This is a year-round job with the same hours and the same paycheck in January and July. No seasonal layoff.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and an insurable driving record.
• Ability to work outside year-round in snow, ice, cold, heat, and altitude.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds and stay on your feet all day.
• Willing to start at 4am on storm days and cover weekend snow.
• Reliable: punctual and consistent attendance.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Winter: Shovel and snow-blow walkways, stairs, entries, and decks at properties.
• Winter: Spread deicer and sand, and clear ice from high-traffic areas.
• Winter: Assist plow driver with driveways and parking areas; clear around vehicles.
• Summer: Mow, edge, and trim lawns with commercial mowers and trimmers.
• All year: Haul materials, load/unload trucks, keep tools clean, and drive company trucks.
