Job summary

The YMCA of the Rockies Estes Park Center is hiring Seasonal Grounds Maintenance Staff to support Snow Mountain Ranch grounds.

You will maintain landscaped areas, operate irrigation, plant care, snow removal, and assist with trail grooming, following safety policies and using small power tools.

This outdoor, high-elevation role requires stamina, the ability to read maps in English, a valid driver's license, and a teamwork mindset.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of horticulture and plant care.
• Experience operating landscaping equipment.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Ability to read sketches, maps, and diagrams in English.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and high elevation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve landscaped and natural areas across Snow Mountain Ranch.
• Operate irrigation systems and perform routine maintenance.
• Plant and care for flowers, trees, shrubs, and turf.
• Perform daily snow removal during winter months.
• Assist with trail and road grooming as needed.
• Follow safety policies and operate YMCA vehicles when required.
