Job summary

Mohawk Industries is seeking a SUPERBA OPERATOR to safely operate heatset machinery and manage finish application in yarn conversion. You will help meet quality, production, and efficiency goals while maintaining accurate production records and supporting creeling and winding tasks.

The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Prior yarn or manufacturing experience is preferred, and safety training is essential to align with

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Successful completion of all required on the job training.
• Successful completion of all required health and environmental safety training.
• Previous Yarn or Manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heatset machinery to meet quality, production and efficiency goals.
• Function as a primary source of finish application in yarn conversion to ensure wear resistance and dimensional stability.
• Maintain daily production records and operate creeling and winding as needed.
• Identify yarn quality issues during production runs and address them promptly.
• Doff finished yarn packages as required and prep for next runs.
• Follow all standard operating procedures and safety policies; maintain housekeeping and sanitation.
