Job summary

The John Stewart Company is seeking a Yardi Specialist to support and train property management teams across assigned sites in San Francisco. You will ensure data integrity in Yardi, support move-ins and rent postings, and contribute to system enhancements with the PM leadership.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of Yardi experience and 5+ years in multifamily housing, plus strong Excel and communication skills. This on-site role requires travel to properties and collaboration with onsite staff.

Qualifications

• Three years’ Yardi system experience.
• Five years’ experience in multifamily housing.
• Valid California driver’s license.
• Ability to travel to assigned sites.
• Strong communication and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and training of the Yardi system.
• Ensure data is correctly maintained in Yardi.
• Evaluate and test new modules for rollout.
• Troubleshoot Yardi application issues.
• Coordinate system corrections with Yardi support.
• Mentor, train, and support team members.
• Represent Property Management on implementation projects.
• Support setup of new properties in Yardi and conversion from other systems.
• Assist with RentCafe setup and property websites via Yardi.
• Train staff on RentCafe utilization.
• Travel to new properties and enter initial move-ins and tenant data.
• Post payments to support property conversions and lease-ups.
• Provide in-person training on move-in processing and rent posting in Yardi.
• Review occupancy and delinquency reports for month-end closes.
• Provide recommendations for Yardi enhancements.
• Recommend training improvements for property and accounting staff.
