Job summary

Heritage Pool Supply - El Cajon is seeking a Yard Associate to support daily yard and warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory while upholding safety standards and providing strong customer service.

Main duties include moving and organizing products, loading/unloading materials, and operating forklifts and pallet jacks safely. The role emphasizes maintaining a clean, hazard-free workspace and meeting delivery deadlines.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift and handle freight/materials up to 75 pounds throughout the workday.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Move, stock, and organize products in the yard and warehouse to keep inventory accurate and easy to find.
• Load and unload materials from customer and company vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment while following all safety rules.
• Keep the yard and warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
• Check and verify orders, complete shipping and receiving paperwork, and meet delivery deadlines.
• Assist with other warehouse or yard tasks as needed.
