Job summary

Heritage Family of Companies is seeking a full-time Yard Associate in Austin, TX to support daily yard and warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, organization, and customer service. The role requires lifting up to 75 pounds, outdoor work, and adherence to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include moving and stocking products, loading/unloading materials, operating forklifts, maintaining a clean workspace, and processing shipping/receiving paperwork to help meet delivery

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift and handle freight/materials up to 75 pounds throughout the workday.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English; bilingual in Spanish may be required based on location-specific needs.
• Prior experience with yard/warehouse operations or similar environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Move, stock, and organize products in the yard and warehouse to keep inventory accurate and easy to find.
• Load and unload materials from customer and company vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment following safety rules.
• Keep the yard and warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Follow all safety guidelines, including PPE usage and proper lifting techniques.
• Check and verify orders, complete shipping/receiving paperwork, and meet delivery deadlines.
• Assist with other warehouse or yard tasks as needed.
