Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. is seeking a Yard Associate for Heritage Family of Companies in El Cajon, CA.

The role focuses on daily yard and warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, and organizing materials while upholding safety standards and delivering strong customer service. Key tasks include moving and stocking products, loading/unloading, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and handle freight/materials up to 75 pounds throughout the workday.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish may be required based on location-specific needs.

Responsibilities

• Move, stock, and organize products in the yard and warehouse to keep inventory accurate and easy to find.
• Load and unload materials from customer and company vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment following safety rules.
• Keep the yard and warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Verify orders, complete shipping and receiving paperwork, and assist to meet delivery deadlines.
