Job summary

Heritage Family of Companies in Austin, TX is hiring a full-time Yard Associate to support daily yard and warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, and organizing materials while maintaining safety and customer service.

You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, verify orders, complete shipping/receiving paperwork, and help with other tasks as needed. Candidates should be at least 18, able to lift 75 pounds, and pass background and drug screens.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background and drug screening required.
• Bilingual Spanish may be required based on location needs.

Responsibilities

• Move, stock, and organize products in the yard and warehouse to keep inventory accurate and easy to find.
• Load and unload materials from customer and company vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment while following all safety rules.
• Keep the yard and warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
• Must follow all safety guidelines, including wearing PPE and using proper lifting techniques.
• Check and verify orders, complete shipping and receiving paperwork, and work with team members to meet delivery deadlines.
• Assist with other warehouse or yard tasks as needed.
