Northville Lumber CO in Northville, MI is seeking a frontline yard associate to maintain customer relationships and pull orders for pickup. You will provide high-level service to retail and professional customers while keeping the yard and warehouses clean and organized.

Responsibilities include accurate material handling, adhering to safety policies, and operating a HiLo forklift. Strong communication and basic math are essential; high school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and write; communicate effectively in one-on-one situations.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in common units of measure.
• Ability to follow written, oral or diagrammatic instructions.
• Ability to work with concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of building materials and lumber desirable.
• Ability to safely operate a HiLo forklift.
