Job summary

Mead Lumber seeks a dependable Yard Loader/Material Handler to safely load building supplies for customers at our Sheridan location. You will also receive and unload deliveries, stock and organize materials, and maintain a clean, safe yard.

Key qualifications include a valid driver's license, ability to lift 50+ pounds, and endurance to stand/walk 4–10 hours daily. Forklift experience is preferred, and a willingness to learn and work in all weather conditions is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk 4–10 hours daily.
• Forklift experience preferred; training available.
• Self-motivated, organized and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload customer orders accurately per paperwork.
• Organize and label materials; stock yard efficiently.
• Safely operate yard equipment and follow procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe yard environment in all weather.
• Assist customers and respond to daily needs.
