Job summary

Higginbotham Brothers in Texas is seeking an entry level Yard/Warehouse Rep I to receive, stock, ship, count inventory and operate a forklift safely, following established work and safety procedures. You will perform duties that keep bays and staging areas organized, provide excellent customer service, and assist inventory control by counting and sorting materials for outgoing orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read orders and write instructions clearly.
• Ability to use a tape measure.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and anticipate problems.
• Willingness to learn inventory control systems and business apps.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely.
• Receive incoming products and materials.
• Stock material in appropriate bins or storage locations.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Assist inventory control in counting and organizing warehouse materials.
• Load completed orders onto delivery equipment.
