Job summary

EMR Group is seeking a Yard Utility Worker for our Green Isle site to support daily yard operations. You will move, sort, and handle scrap metal, operate equipment to load and unload materials, and assist with basic processing while maintaining a safe, clean yard.

The role is full-time, Monday through Friday with no nights or weekends, offering benefits including PTO, holidays, medical/dental, vision, life insurance, an HSA/FSA, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and handle 50 pounds.
• Ability to operate equipment safely.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.

About the Opportunity

As a Yard Utility Worker at EMR, you’ll play a key role in our daily yard operations at our Green Isle site. In this role, you’ll support general yard upkeep and assist with a variety of yard tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Move, sort and handle scrap metal and materials
• Operate equipment to load and unload materials from trucks, trailers and containers
• Assist with basic material processing, including dismantling small components and collecting loose material
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard
• Greet and assist customers with unloading materials

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills

Compensation and Benefits

• Monday – Friday, no nights or weekends
• $20+ per hour, full-time, year-round
