Fenix Parts is seeking a Yard Utility Operator in East Syracuse, NY to support the yard and production areas. The role involves forklift operation, parts removal from salvage vehicles, and general yard maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience with forklift and small equipment operation, heavy equipment operating, general maintenance, and understanding of mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift and other salvage yard equipment.
• Assist our parts pulling operation and remove automotive parts from salvage vehicles within the yard.
• Maintain cleanliness and perform yard housekeeping, packaging, and weighing core batteries, and remove Freon from scrap refrigeration units.
• Respond to customer requests efficiently.
• Perform general labor and ground-level yard work throughout the shift.
