Job summary

Fenix Parts Inc. in East Syracuse, NY is hiring a Yard Utility Operator to keep the yard safe and efficient while supporting the production area.

You will operate various equipment and assist with parts removal from salvage vehicles, maintaining cleanliness and safety throughout the shift. Qualified candidates will have forklift and small equipment experience, be comfortable outdoors in any weather, and possess basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklift and small equipment.
• Comfort working outdoors in all weather.
• Basic computer skills; automotive parts experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and salvage yard equipment.
• Assist parts pulling and remove parts from vehicles in the yard.
• Maintain yard cleanliness and manage metal processing and bin sorting.
• Weigh and handle core batteries; remove Freon from scrap units.
• Respond to customer requests and perform general yard work as needed.
