Job summary

Gulf Stream Marine, an Enstructure Company, is seeking a truck driver to support terminal and stevedoring operations. The role involves operating yard trucks, loading and discharging cargo, and ensuring cargo is secured and documented accurately across vessel, warehouse, and trucking activities.

The position requires three years of mule jockey/tractor trailer experience, English proficiency, and willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.TWIC is mandatory, and this is not

Qualifications

• Three years driving mule jockey or tractor trailer.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to process alpha/numeric data.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to think logically, follow procedures and instructions.
• Flexible hours including nights, overtime, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-shift mechanical inspection of assigned company truck (yard mule) and report deficiencies.
• Operate yard truck and secure cargo for transport; load/unload break bulk cargo and containers using standard equipment.
• Couple and uncouple trailers by changing trailer jack positions and connecting/disconnecting air and electrical lines.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions following signals from loading crew.
• Maintain logs of loads and submit accurate daily shift activity.
• Maintain a clean work area and awareness of surroundings.
• Perform other duties such as general labor, as assigned.
