Job summary

Sun Terminals in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Mule Driver to safely operate the mule, move cargo, and support dock operations. This full-time on-site role requires strict adherence to safety protocols and effective radio communication with the yard team.

Ideal candidates will possess a valid driver’s license (CDL preferred) and be able to work in all weather conditions while maintaining a clean and safe work area. TWIC/port ID may be required.

Qualifications

• Must possess excellent driving skills to perform duties safely and efficiently.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred.
• Ability to receive, understand and execute radio instructions to support logistics.

Responsibilities

• Operate mule to move cargo to and from the shipyard in accordance with Sun Terminals policies.
• Receive, understand, and execute radio instructions to meet logistical needs.
• Maintain safe, clean work areas and follow safety guidelines (PPE, glasses, steel-toed shoes).
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
• Communicate professionally with team members, supervisors, and customers.
• Work in all weather conditions and adhere to all safety standards.
