Job summary

Gulf Stream Marine, Inc. is seeking an experienced yard operator to drive ITVs and yard trucks, moving containers and general cargo within the terminal. The role includes daily inspections and adherence to safety procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in reading and speaking English is required, with flexibility for extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed to support port operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• TWIC card required.
• Valid State Driver's License.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Operate Internal Transfer Vehicles (ITVs) and yard trucks to move containers and general cargo.
• Perform pre-use and daily inspections; follow procedures for checking out and returning trucks.
• Safely mount and dismount vehicles and adhere to safety protocols.
• Navigate intersections, blind spots, ramps, and uneven surfaces.
