Job summary

Amazon.com is seeking Transportation Associates to manage trailer moves in the yard, coordinate yard activities, and support site operations for the transportation network. You will train with CDL-related programs and comply with DOT regulations while maintaining safety and efficiency in a dynamic outdoor environment.

Responsibilities include yard audits, driver inspections, schedule adherence, and collaboration with carriers and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid and active driver's license.
• Candidates must be 21+ with ability to understand and follow English safety guidelines.
• Experience with safety policies and operating around yard/traffic is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform trailer yard moves and coordinate yard activities.
• Conduct yard audits and assist with driver training programs.
• Operate CMVs on non-public roads or yard for trailer movement.
• Learn and comply with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Complete vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Follow schedules and track working hours and breaks per policy.
• Support site operations and external carriers as needed.
• Drive, load/unload and maneuver trailers using approved equipment.
