FedEx Logistics is seeking a package handler/switcher to move trailers to and from doors and throughout the yard. You will load/unload packages, operate yard equipment, and ensure safety procedures are followed. Strong communication is essential for coordinating with central control and management.

Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, sorting packages, and documenting movements. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with pay around the

Competenze

• Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a Department of Transportation (DOT) file.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions regarding work duties and safety methods.
• Ability to discern numbers/information to sort packages correctly.
• Ability to use basic tools/equipment such as skate wheel rollers, dock carts, hand-held scanners, chutes and unloading devices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; work well in a fast-paced team environment.

Mansioni

• Move trailers between yard and doors; perform yard switches.
• Coordinate trailer movements with management/central control.
• Document trailer moves in Yard Management System or switcher cards.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
