Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and maintain a DOT file.
• Ability to understand and follow safety methods and work instructions.
• Ability to discern numbers and information to sort packages correctly.
• Experience with yard equipment and scanning systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Move and switch trailers between yard and doors.
• Coordinate trailer movements with management to the yard or doors.
• Document trailer moves using the Yard Management System or switcher cards.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
• Load and unload packages onto or from vehicles, trailers, or conveyors.
• Sort packages by scanning labels and numbers.
• Follow safety procedures and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
