Job summary

Responsibilities

Perform trailer switches by hooking and moving trailers between yard and doors or from doors to yard.
Coordinate trailer movements with management/central control.
Document trailer moves using Yard Management System or switcher cards.
Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
Adhere to yard switching safety processes and procedures.
Load and unload packages onto delivery vehicles, trailers, or carts.
Sort packages by scanning, reading labels and charts.
