Job summary

Performance Team is hiring a Yard Driver to safely move trailers and equipment within a busy yard, dock area, and distribution facility in Massachusetts. You will position trailers at loading docks, perform inspections, and coordinate with warehouse and transportation teams to keep operations efficient.

The role requires a valid driver's license, the ability to operate yard trucks and forklifts where trained, and strong safety awareness. Overtime and flexible scheduling may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license; CDL may be required.
• Experience operating yard tractors, hostlers, or trailers.
• Ability to maneuver equipment safely in confined yard spaces.
• Ability to document trailer movements and yard activity accurately.
• Strong communication with dispatch, warehouse, and transportation teams.
• Forklift certification may be required.
• Must be able to work overtime and flexible schedules.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate yard trucks and other equipment.
• Move trailers between parking areas and docks.
• Connect and disconnect trailers per procedures.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain organized and safe yard.
• Record trailer movements and equipment status.
• Communicate trailer locations and priorities with teams.
